1961 – The Squad builds a new home

In 1961, we purchased the property north of the original First Aid Home. The beautiful red brick First Aid Home built by France & Sharpe was completed by late Fall of 1961 for a cost of $33,959. The new building featured 3 ambulance bays, a large meeting hall, a kitchen, and a members’ lounge and is still in use today as the Squad’s home.
